Hope House of Central Louisiana
Fighting period poverty one step at a time through our Basic Needs and Personal Care Programs! Promise Hill distributed 2168 feminine hygiene products to young girls and women in need in Alexandria, Louisiana at Hope House of Central Louisiana. Hope House offers shelter to homeless families with or without children. Each family may stay for up to two years. Residents receive comprehensive life skills training and are provided opportunities that empower them towards self-sufficiency.

Promise House
Fighting period poverty locally- one step at a time! As part of our Basic Needs and Personal Care Programs, Promise Hill donated a total of 1700 feminine hygiene products to Promise House. Promise House programming includes crisis intervention, transitional housing, pregnant and parenting teen services, counseling, education, and outreach to neglected, abused, and at-risk youth ages 0-24. Since 1984, Promise House has had an open door – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – to children, youth and families in crisis serving 2,050 clients last year alone. By improving each client’s chances for long-term stability, Promise House works to prevent chronic homelessness in North Texas. Many thanks to our partnerships with Spa In the City, Cooper Specialty and Dr. Currington for making this donation possible. We are forever grateful!

Fighting period poverty one step at a time!

As part of our Basic Needs and Personal Care Programs, as well as our 2019 Feminine Hygiene Products Collection for America, Promise Hill delivered 2510 period products to young girls and women in need at The Center for Women and Families in Louisville, Kentucky. This amazing Center provides a safe house for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. The Center serves 8000 individuals annually, has 89 beds, and 30 apartments, which are used for transitional housing purposes.

Northern Kentucky Emergency Shelter

Promise Hill Project donated men’s jeans, underwear and shoes to the Northern Kentucky Emergency Shelter, through our Personal Care Program. This shelter houses 70% men and 30% women. Their winter program in 2017 served 589 people in need.
