Teen Moms Event In Kenya

We just wrapped up our second Teen Mother Event in Kenya, and it filled our hearts in the best way. 

The girls we spent time with are so young, some only 14 or 15, and already navigating motherhood. Many didn’t expect to get pregnant, and some didn’t even realize it had happened until months later.

They opened up about feeling overwhelmed, scared, and often completely alone. Their stories broke our hearts, but also inspired us. These girls are still standing, still trying, and still hoping.

At the event, we focused on helping them move forward, even if life didn’t go the way they expected. We talked about self-care, self-love, and reminded them that becoming a young mom doesn’t mean their dreams have to end.  We also made sure they felt cared for in a tangible way:

 A warm, hearty meal
 Hygiene products and fresh underwear
 Take-home food supplies

The girls lit up with joy, knowing someone was there for them. They left smiling, encouraged, and reminded they are not alone. And it’s because of YOU. Your support makes days like this possible.
