In response to a severe winter storm that moved into Texas in mid February, Promise Hill Project donated 100 blankets to help keep the homeless warm throughout a crippling cold front, with wind chills as low as 20 below zero. Extreme cold will become life threatening to people and animals outside without adequate warmth or shelter! This donation was made in response to a Code Blue sent out by SoupMobile.

Promise Hill was honored to sponsor our first formal drive-up food distribution in America, at the Mt. Sterling Community Center in Mt. Sterling, Ohio! With our proud partner, meals were provided to 104 households and 321 individuals in need.

Promise Hill donated our ‘Bag of Love’, which was filled with personal care items such as shampoo, deodorant and body wash. Through the generous staff at the Mount Sterling Community Center, 56 families in need received nearly 300 personal care products. Fighting period poverty one step at a time through our Basic Needs Program! Promise Hill distributed 1319 feminine hygiene products to young girls and women in need at Promise House in Dallas, Texas.

The vision of Promise House is that every youth has a safe and nurturing place to call home, where youth ages 0-24 who are experiencing homelessness are provided life-saving care. Thank you to all of the amazing donors who made this contribution possible!
