Fighting period poverty one step at a time! Many thanks to the young ladies at Ohio Northern Sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, for hosting a drive. This drive resulted in the collection of 1510 feminine hygiene products! As part of our Basic Needs Program and our current
Feminine Hygiene Products Collection, Promise Hill distributed these products to young girls and women in need throughout America.
On behalf of Promise Hill’s Personal Care Program, this adorable couple donated a large amount of personal care products to the Mount Sterling Community Center, which services those in need within the 740 area code in Mount Sterling, Ohio.
As part of our Personal Care Program, Jim Colvin, Promise Hill Board of Directors member and Treasurer, donated shampoo, conditioner, body wash and deodorant to the Food and Clothing Pantry at the Mount Sterling Community Center. This donation will serve men, women and children in need within the 740 area code. Accepting the donation was Annie Tomlinson, MSCC Executive Director.
Promise Hill Project donated men’s jeans, underwear and shoes to the Northern Kentucky Emergency Shelter, through our Personal Care Program. This shelter houses 70% men and 30% women. Their winter program in 2017 served 589 people in need.
