Update on Our Second Water Well Project in India: Bringing Clean Water to Those in Need

We’re thrilled to share exciting progress on our second water well project in India, made possible by the generous support of a private donor. We are incredibly grateful for the extraordinary generosity that will bring a positive change in the lives of the needful.

100% of this donation was sent to our local partner in January, and we are grateful for your trust in our organization to make a meaningful impact.

Focus on the Fundamentals 

Thanks to our local partner, charity: water,we are currently in the planning phase of this 21-month project. While this may seem like a lengthy process, it is essential for the project’s success. By investing time in careful planning and community involvement, we are laying a strong foundation for a water source that will serve the community for years to come.

Our local partner is diligently working to secure permits, gather necessary supplies, and build strong relationships with the community.

To ensure the long-term impact of this project, we’ve prioritized three key areas:

• Optimal Location
  Our expert hydrogeologists have meticulously selected the ideal site for the water well, maximizing its potential to provide clean water to the community.
• Community Empowerment
  WASH specialists are working diligently to educate community members on essential hygiene practices to prevent waterborne diseases. Additionally, we’re establishing a water-user committee to oversee the well’s maintenance and ensure a continuous supply of clean water.
• Timely Implementation
  We’re on track to transition from the planning phase to construction, bringing clean water to the community as efficiently as possible.
